Building Financial Capability (BFC) is a range of services and products that help people, families and whānau experiencing hardship to build their financial capability and resilience. BFC takes a strengths-based approach to empower people to get control of their money, set goals and achieve long-term, sustainable change.
Financial Mentoring - one-on-one service focused on helping people, families and whānau with their finances.
Building Financial Capability (including wrap around support) - is an intensive service aimed at helping people, families, and whanau with multiple and complex needs who are experiencing (or at risk of experiencing) extreme financial hardship. It is a holistic approach to building financial resilience that acknowledges financial issues don’t occur in isolation of people’s wider social needs.
Microfinance and debt solutions - helping people in financial hardship to borrow safely and reduce their unsustainable debt.
